Crisalis Collectables

Christine Haworth - Born in Blackburn Lancashire UK, she attended Wolverhampton & Manchester College of Art studying graphic design specialising in illustration. She worked freelance for several years both as an illustrator and a figurative artist. Several one-woman exhibitions of her work were held in the late 1970s and '80s at venues throughout the country including Harrods. In 1993 she designed the Isle of Man Christmas Stamps and also started her own design company. Success followed, enabling her to license leading giftware producers, incorporating several exclusive brand name Collectables, including Paintbox & Faerie Poppets and Angel Whispers. Her Subjects are always figurative and include themes of Nostalgic Faeries and mystical subjects, classical costume, and angelic design.

Dreamtide
This winning Limited Edition series explores the incredible imaginary world of seashore and ocean life. Mermaids and Sea Sprites are depicted in exquisite costumes, richly decorated with jewels that they have collected from their underwater kingdom.
The ethereal expressions and wind blown locks really capture the dreamlike quality the artist has sought to bring to this series.

Paintbox Poppets
Exclusive to Fiesta Collectables Ltd, recreated and relaunched in 2004 this highly desirable Limited Edition series of endearing figurines has been inspired and sculptured from illustrations by the renowned artist Christine Haworth.
