 Christine Haworth - The Artist that created the Crisalis Collectables ranges Paintbox Poppets, Faerie Poppets, Dreamtide and Angel Whispers. Born in Blackburn Lancashire UK, Christine attended Wolverhampton &
Manchester College of Art studying graphic design specialising in
illustration. She worked freelance for several years both as an
illustrator and a figurative artist.
Several one-woman exhibitions of her work were held in the late 1970s and '80s at venues throughout the country including Harrods. In 1993 she designed the Isle of Man Christmas Stamps and also started her own design company. Success followed, enabling her to license leading giftware producers, incorporating several exclusive brand name Collectables, including Paintbox & Faerie Poppets and Angel Whispers.
Her Subjects are always figurative and include themes of Nostalgic Faeries and mystical subjects, classical costume, and angelic design.
