Barrie Gittens
Barrie Gittens - Creator of our Vast 'Fiesta Studio Collection'. Highly detailed animals with Character.

Barrie began his early career twenty-five years ago when he graduated from Britain’s Bournville Art College. After working for many years within Worcester’s famous ceramic and resin giftware industry, he was anxious to explore and develop his own ideas. He finally realized his dream in 1993 when the opportunity to start up his own company arose.

He named it "Bowbrook Studios" after the Bowbrook stream, which runs alongside the studio grounds. In 1998, Heritage Artist bought the right to manufacture and distribute some of Gittens work. This newborn partnership made way for an innovative collection of songbirds, farm animals, roosters and hens. These pieces, incorporating exciting mixed-media materials, are winning over new collectors.

A keen sculptor, Gittens enjoys working alongside his creative team when developing new concepts and ideas for his expanding line. His sculptures vivid colours and incredible detail make for life-like reality and contribute to the line’s growing success around the world
