Christine Howarth was born in Blackburn, Lancashire and attended Wolverhampton and Manchester College of Art, studying graphic design but specialising in illustration. Success followed, enabling her to license leading giftware producers, incorporating several exclusive brand name collectables, including Paintbox and Faerie Poppets and Angel Whispers. Her subjects are always figurative and include themes of Nostalgic Faeries and mystical subjects, classical costume and angelic design.
