De Rosa Rinconada is known internationally for its artistic and elegant use of platinum, 18 karat gold and vibrant enamel glazes in the creation of their hand-made ceramic figurines. Each design is individually hand-carved and hand-painted, ensuring that no two sculptures are ever created exactly alike.
After initial kiln firing, decoration starts with the hand application of coloured slips and enamel glazes used to accent and highlight individual design characteristics. Each enamel glaze must be re-fired individually in order to preserve its distinctive coloration.
